A while ago, comic con put on a teaser trailer for a new American Godzilla.
Here's a recreation of the trailer.
and here's a recreation of my own.
So... where to begin? Oh, yes. The trailer appeared at comic con. It was said that it was a reboot for godzilla, so I guess the story is being redone. Warner bros. and legendary pictures are going to be working on it, and the directer is Gareth Edwards, and the producer Brian Rogers, as well as Max Borenstein and David Goyer for the storyline.
Brian Rogers, the producer, met up with the directer for Godzilla vs. the smog monster. They actually have the rights to take on Godzilla, and may help on the movie.
It has been decided that that Godzilla and the other monsters will be completely CGI. I don't really agree with that, but I guess it depends on the creator.
Brian Rodgers was talked to about the movie. He said it was most likely that there will be another monster or monsters.
He also says that this picture is fake. Yet it still resembles the Godzilla in the trailer.
The trailer was said to have another monster, which was said to have been smoldering in flames, which is shown it both of the trailer recreations above. Nobody could really tell what it was like, just that it had many arms. So I designed these pictures, based on what I thought it should look like. Remember, that trailer was a teaser, so it probably won't be used again. They just threw a bunch of stuff in, because it didn't have a story yet.
It is based on a centipede, but a bit different. At first, I was going to make it's story like Megaguirus, but I thought to think a little longer.
Some people thought there will be biollante in the new move, because of a few new sculpts of it.
But we don't know. maybe a new version of the smog monster(hedorah)? I mean, the directer for Godzilla vs. the smog monster is the one with rights.
The true release date is May 16, 2014. I'd hate to wait that long, but that means a good movie!
this is for godzillavsthedude on youtube.
